Austin Merfeld was elected as the new State BPA Secretary/Treasurer

Jordan Loes, a 6th grade student and Dani Isaac, a 7th grade student, were accepted into the OPUS Honor Choir in Ames on November 19th.

Monticello Girls Cross Country finished 4th in districts; Boys and Girls Cross Country were Tri-Rivers Champions.; and Jud Schneider was individual district champion.

Boys Cross Country finished 5th @ State. Jud Schneider individually placed 9th @ State.

Workplace Learning Connection
What’s your career game plan? What education or training program will you pursue after high school? If you have a plan and want validation of your interests or if you have just started to explore career options - consider applying for the Workplace Learning Connection student internship program. These career exploration experiences place you in the front line of learning, working side by side with area professionals in order to better understand the challenges and benefits of a particular profession, all while earning elective academic credit! The winter and spring sessions are open to current HS juniors and seniors.
Workplace Learning Connection coordinators are accepting completed applications through 11/20/09 for the Winter and Spring 2010 sessions.
