Registration for Little Panthers Preschool for the 2025-2026 school year will open on January 3 and are due on March 7, 2025. Students need to be 4 by September 15, 2025. Please register by one of the 3 methods below.

3. The application can be picked up at Shannon or mailed to you by calling Shannon Elementary Office at 319-465-3000, press 5 and then 2.
General education four-year-old preschool openings are filled through a lottery method. The program includes: breakfast, lunch, milk, and snacks. Tuition is $135.00 per month which includes breakfast, lunch, and a snack, there is also a scholarship that you can apply for. If your child turns four years old on or before September 15, a Statewide Voluntary Preschool allocation will lower your child’s tuition. This program also serves six HeadStart slots and special education students (for both three and four-year-olds).
