Hello! My name is Adam Prister and I recently moved to the Iowa area when my wife got a job at the University of Platteville Wisconsin. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and have been working in a variety of settings over the past 7 years. Most recently I was working in a school in Marquette, Michigan and previous to that I worked for Catholic Charities in Chicago. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in Psychology and my Master of Social Work from the University of Loyola Chicago. I am passionate about working with students of all ages in the school setting because education should provide all students the opportunity to increase their understanding of both themselves and the world around them. I am excited to be a part of the Monticello Team!
Adam’s duties will include:
- Individual meetings with students
- Connecting families with community resources
- Support for school counseling program
