College Visit Days

College Visit Days/College Fairs

 Check out Marshalltown Community College at one of their Tiger Paw Days.  There is a campus visit every Friday, so call and set up your visit at 641-844-5710.
 Check out Indian Hills Community College at one of their Warrior Wednesdays.  Visit their campus in Ottumwa, IA on November 28th or December 12th from 10:00-2:00 pm.  Reserve your spot by calling 800-726-2585.
 Check out Northeast Iowa Community College’s poster on the guidance office bulletin board for the many visit days they are offering and information on scheduling your tour.
 Students interested in the performing arts should check out Christmas With Wartburg and a campus visit on Wednesday, November 28.  Take a campus tour, meet directors and students about the music programs, academics, student life and co-curricular activities.  Contact the admissions office for questions atadmissions@wartburg.edu

  • Biology (Molecular Bio, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Med, Pre-Phys Therapy, Pre-Vet) – Monday, November 19

 If you are interested in Veterinary Technology or Pre-Vet Medicine, join Northeast Community College for their Veterinary Tech Career Day on Monday, November 5thfrom 9:00 am- 12:00 noon or on Tuesday, November 27th from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon.  There are only 30 seats per day at this hands-on workship, so register early.  Register online at northeast.edu/2012/VetTech

 The University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s Sky’s the Limit Program: Reaching for the Stars is planned for young women in grades 11-12.  The event is planned forNovember 30-December 2.  See information in the guidance office.

 Northeast Iowa Community College has scheduled several Welcome Wednesday Campus Visit Days throughout the year.  NICC is also holding Program Visits and an Evening Visit in October and February.  See dates and other information in the guidance office and on the poster on the guidance office bulletin board.
 Engage-Experience-Explore at the University of Dubuque’s Preview Days.  Register online for one of the many preview day dates at www.dbq.edu.  See the poster on the guidance office bulletin board for a complete list of dates and information.
