Family STEM Festival

  • Date & Time: Thursday, October 8 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Drop in anytime!)
  • Location: Youth Development Center in Monticello
  • Who: Students in Grades PreK–8 (Adult supervision required)
  • Cost: FREE!

What to Expect:

  • Over 20 interactive, hands-on stations exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
  • Featured activities include a two-lane racetrack (Blu Track), propelling race cars (Collins Aerospace), bridge building, an interactive ham radio station, and an interactive semi-trailer (Iowa Motor Truck Association).
  • Opportunities to connect hands-on STEM activities directly to real-world careers.

Express Registration: Keep an eye out for a flyer coming home with your student this week. Fill out the Express Registration on the back and bring it with you for fast, easy check-in at the door. (Registration is also available on-site if you forget your form).
