Hello all,
It looks like the heat index will not be going down anytime soon. Therefore Shannon and Carpenter elementary schools will be dismissing at noon on Thursday (9/3) & Friday (9/4) this week.
The Middle School and the High School will continue as normal and dismiss at 3:15pm. We are asking elementary parents to pick up their students at noon at their school building on both Thursday and Friday. For students that are not picked up at noon, we will find an air-conditioned place until a parent arrives, the buses arrive at 3:15pm, or when Panther Academy opens at 3:15pm.
Please remember to send a water bottle with your student to help them stay hydrated on these very hot days. Hopefully next week will be cooler!
