Announcements

  • Students registered for drivers ed: There is a mandatory meeting next Wednesday, May 6th at 5:00 in the middle school commons. 
  • Yearbook orders are guaranteed if you order before May 1!  After that there are only a certain amount of copies that will be available for purchase – so get yours today! 
  • Didn’t get a, “You’re in the Yearbook” flyer on your locker?  Don’t worry, you’re in the yearbook at least 3 times.  Check with Mrs. Marjoua to see if you’ve ordered a book. 
  • MHS Art Students: Bring artwork made this year back to Mrs. Marjoua for the Annual MHS Art Show by May 8th.  Artwork will be on display for only one night, from 5-7, May 12th(same night as the NHS Induction and Senior Awards) 
  • Attention all 9th graders, please go into your class of 2029 Google Classroom or use this link to vote for your next year’s sophomore president for student council. Voting ends Friday, May 1st.

  • Friday, May 15: Last day for seniors
  • Sunday, May 17: Graduation
  • Friday, May 22: Last day of school 1:00 Dismissal

      • Maria White Memorial Art Scholarship: Due 05.01
      • Men’s Eastern Iowa Golf Association: Due 05.01
      • White Hawk Tech-Vocational Scholarship: Due 05.01
    • One local scholarship is due in June:
      • Sergeant James K. Smith Memorial Scholarship: Due 06.27
    • All of the scholarships are located in the Class of 2026 Google Classroom and on the Monticello Counseling website!
