- The Workplace Learning Connection Internship Portal is now open for any 10th or 11th grade students interested in doing a summer internship. Students earn one dual credit through their high school and Kirkwood for their internship experience. Interns work 32 hours in the workplace learning firsthand about the job/career. They also attend three classes with a WLC Internship Coordinator developing professional skills. If you are interested in applying for an internship, please fill out the application form at https://www.kirkwood.edu/workplace-learning-connection/internships/index. The summer internship portal will close on February 6th at 3pm. If you have any questions, please contact Julie Welter at julie.welter@kirkwood.edu.
