Announcements

  • Attention 11th grade students…..

We will be taking a bus (with limited seating) to the College Fair on the KW campus next Wednesday.  Information has been sent to your school email.  Pick up permission slips/Pre-Excused Forms in the office.  Deadline for return is Tuesday the 10th.  See Mrs. Larson with any questions.

  • Weight room open from 3:30-4:15 on the following dates: 9/9, 9/11, 9/12, 9/16, 9/18, 9/19, 9/23, 9/24, 9/25, 9/30
  • Hey Juniors and Seniors, your post prom committee has started working on your amazing 2025 prom……YES…..ALREADY. It takes a lot of work to make it AMAZING! Please take a moment to fill out the form that was shared with you in your emails. This information is essential in making sure we are hosting a post prom that you will never forget!!!! Your feedback is sooooo important, Please have the form filled out by Monday Sept 9th so we can start reserving things early!! 
  • Keep up on the Student Section! Follow them on Instagram at @monticello_studentsection
  • Yearbooks are in!  You may stop by the office to collect your 2024 Edition of MHS’s Paws On History Yearbook anytime before or after school.  Didn’t order ahead?  No problem, we have extras!  $75 Cash or Check given to Mrs. Marjoua or Rachel in the office. The MHS yearbook staff wish you a happy start to the 24-25 School Year – LET’S GO PANTHERS!

  • Monday, September 16: Musical try-outs at 3:30 
  • Tuesday, September 17: Musical try-outs at 3:30 and 7:00 in the choir room 
  • September 16-20: Homecoming Week
  • Wednesday, September 18: 1:00 Dismissal
  • Wednesday, September 25: 1:00 Dismissal
  • Wednesday, October 2: 1:00 Dismissal
  • Wednesday, October 2: Josten’s meeting with Seniors and Sophomores

Silver Service Opportunities

  • Any HS student looking for Silver Service hours can help work in the MS concession stand on Saturday, September 14 for the JV Volleyball Tournament.  Help is needed from 8:30 to 11:30 and from 1:30 to 4:00.  Contact Mr. Lambert or the MS Office if you are interested.
