Hello everyone,
The COVID numbers are still on the rise for the Monticello Community School District this week. We currently have 13 positive COVID cases this week and approximately 20 people with symptoms that may be COVID related. We will continue to monitor going forward and I would remind everyone to be cautious and continue to use universal precautions, such as hand washing, sneezing into your elbow, not sharing drinks or food, social distance when possible, etc.
In addition to our COVID cases increasing we also have an increase in strep throat. Not sure why that is happening now but we have seen several cases in the last week. As always, please remember that if your child is sick, have them stay home. Even if it is not COVID, no one else wants to get sick this time of the year.
That is our update for this week, as always, please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support of the Monticello Community School District.
