Hello everyone,
Well our string of no COVID positive cases has come to an end this week. We do have three COVID positive cases this week in the Monticello Community School District. That is still very low in comparison to what our numbers were at various times during the last two years. Just remember that even though the numbers are low, it still makes sense to always use some of the universal precautions such as hand washing, sneezing into your elbow, etc. Some of those common-sense precautions can help you to avoid sickness in general.
It is hard to believe but next week it will be May. Seniors have 4 weeks until they graduate and all other students have 5 weeks until the end of the school year. The last day of school is June 3rd as of today. The last month of school will go fast so please remember to encourage your child(ren) to finish the year strong. Then we will be putting the 2021-2022 school year in the books and start planning for the 2022-2023 school year.
That is our update for this week, as always, please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support of the Monticello Community School District.
