Hello all,
I just want to give you an update on our COVID numbers for this week. We currently have one positive COVID case K-12 (staff and students). We have about 42 cases (staff and students) that we are monitoring. That includes those in quarantine, waiting for COVID testing results, or out with COVID like symptoms. The number of staff and students we are monitoring is down 3 cases since last week.
Of the 42 cases we are monitoring, it is likely that they are a combination of COVID, Influenza-A, and a stomach bug that is going around. Let’s hope that our numbers trend downward over the next week and after spring break we hopefully see some better numbers for every sickness going around in our school district.
That is it for this week and as always please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support of the Monticello Community School District.
