The Iowa Department of Public Health reports that Jones County has a 7-day positivity rate of 12%. That is down 11% from last week. The number of positive COVID cases in Jones County over the last 7 days is 57, and that is down 77 cases from last week.

This Week:
There is still statewide information on the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) website so I wanted to show the last two weeks of charts as a comparison. Our cases have dropped by 153 people in Jones County over the last two weeks and you can see the statewide numbers are continuing to drop at a rapid rate. It is great to be trending in the right direction again!!!
That is it for this week and as always please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support of the Monticello Community School District.
