To celebrate Random Acts of Kindness month our Student Council will be sponsoring a door decoration activity. We are asking teachers and students to decorate their doors on Friday February 11th, from 9-9:40. As of now this is a Day 2.
Our only parameter is that your door represents kindness. Some examples are
· “try to be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud”
· “One kind act can change someone’s entire day”
· “Give someone a compliment”
This is not necessarily a competition, but we will be choosing some to put on the school district website. We have a correction to make. The winner of the Homecoming door decoration this past fall was Mr. Schmitt NOT Mrs. Schockemoehl, so it looks like he is the one to beat!
The WPA Dance is Friday, February 11th from 8-11 pm in the high school commons. Students may invite a student from another school district. Guests are to be in high school or not over the age of 20. No middle school students. You will need to get a dance guest permission form from the office if you are planning to bring someone from outside the district. ALL MHS STUDENTS PLANNING TO ATTEND THE DANCE MUST SIGN UP IN THE OFFICE. Tickets will be sold at the door. The dance starts at 8 pm and students will not be allowed in after 9 pm.
