Student Bulletin Tuesday, October 19 Day 1
Monticello High School is offering Panther Tutoring!! The location will be in the High School Library today and Thursday, October 21st. Before school times will be from 7:00-8:00 am and after school times will be from 3:15-4:15pm. There is no sign-up required. Students just needs to arrive at 7:00 am or 3:15 pm. for tutoring. If changes are needed to the schedule, it will be communicated on a weekly basis to students through email. If you need extra help, need time to complete work, or need to reassess, please take advantage of this opportunity!! Contact Nick Schauf, MHS Principal, with questions.
We will host Union in the first round of the football playoffs on Friday, October 22 at 7:00. Digital tickets will be available through the IHSAA Tickets page and go on sale at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19. There will not be tickets sold at the gate with a cash option.
Speech tryouts are scheduled for Monday, October 25 at 3:30, Tuesday, October 26 at 7:15 am and 3:30, and Wednesday, October 27 at 7:15 am in the library. See Mrs. Carlson with questions.
If anyone is interested in working out with our Army Recruiter, SSG. Briggs, after school one day, let Mrs. Sconsa know. He has started doing workouts with some students who are interested in learning more about the military.
The 2021 Academic Awards will be held virtually this year that will include a slideshow that will be sent out to students and families. Watch for more information on that date.
BPA lollipop sales are back on in Mrs. Gassman’s room # 302. Purchase your lollipop between classes up through 4th block. Thanks for your support!
School picture retakes are scheduled for Monday, November 1.
Seniors – Please turn in a senior and baby picture for the yearbook by email to Mrs. Woodhouse before winter break. Hard copies are accepted also, with your name on the back. Contact Mrs. Woodhouse if you have any questions.
Guidelines are as follows —
– Head and shoulders only.
– Vertical format.
– Clothing should conform to school dress code.
-No inappropriate poses.
-No other people, animals, objects/props in photograph.
-No sunglasses.
– Color or B/W are acceptable.
– Submit digitally or write name on back if submitting a hard copy.
-Must be received by deadline (before winter break of senior year)
