Good morning!
Just wanted to give you a quick update on our Return to Learn Plan. Monday night the school board had an important decision to make regarding mask wearing in the schools. About 20 extra guests attended the meeting in addition to the regular crowd. Four people spoke to the board during the meeting and then the board discussed the situation as a group. The school board then decided to take no action at this time. That means that we will continue to follow the current Return to Learn Plan and not require masks for students, staff, and visitors at school, on busses, or at extracurricular activities. Masks, of course, can be worn by anyone and will continue to be optional for all students, parents, and visitors at any time.
Moving forward, at our regular board meetings, we will continue to monitor our current situation and make changes to our Return to Learn Plan if necessary. And as always, we will continue to do the best we can to create a safe learning environment for all.
Please don’t hesitate to email, text, or call me if you have any questions.
