Student Bulletin Wednesday, April 7 Day 1
A Jostens rep will be set up in the vestibule TODAY from 10:30 – 12:30. They will be distributing class ring orders and graduation orders such as invitations, mugs, clothing, etc. during that time. Seniors – Pick up day for cap and gowns is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19th from 1:00 – 3:45 in the office.
CHANGE FOR PROM – Because of COVID contact tracing guidelines from Jones County Health, ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS ATTENDING PROM MUST SIGN UP IN THE OFFICE. IF YOU ARE BRINGING A GUEST, YOU MUST SIGN UP YOUR GUEST IN THE OFFICE EVEN IF YOUR GUEST IS A MHS STUDENT. You can do this at the counter in the office. ALL GUESTS THAT DO NOT ATTEND MHS MUST COMPLETE THE DANCE GUEST REGISTRATION FORM. This includes MHS alumni, those students attending other high schools, and those that are out of school. This is an important change from previous years as we must have phone numbers to use if the need arises for contact tracing. Forms are due to the High School Office by 12:00 noon on Friday, April 16th. The registration forms are available at the drive up window.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and April 8th is Blue Out Day in Jones County in support of it. Students and staff are encouraged to wear blue on April 8th. If you would like to participate in other ways too, contact Heather Weers, Jones County Community Partnerships for Protecting Children, at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
