02/19/21 Elementary Friday Bulletin
from Mr. Folken, Elementary Principal
NEXT WEEK
Monday: School Board Meeting
Wednesday: 12 PM Dismissal
SUNDAY FORECAST – SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY
School-issued devices are coming home this weekend just as a precaution due to the snowy weather expected on Sunday. The devices were fully charged at school so we are not sending chargers with them. Students should leave their device in their backpack until Monday in case it is needed. Devices should not be used for games or watching videos over the weekend or they will have no charge left on Monday.
Just a reminder, if you have not returned your school-issued charger, please return it to the classroom teacher on Monday so devices can be charged while at school.
SPRING ELEMENTARY PARENT / TEACHER CONFERENCE SIGN-UP
Spring conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 30 and Thursday, April 1. Our teachers will meet with parents virtually for conferences like we did in the fall. Everyone needs to login to PowerSchool by Friday, March 5th and sign up for a time to have their virtual meeting with their child’s teacher. If you do not sign up by Friday, March 5th your time will be automatically assigned by the school secretary. This document will explain how you can sign up.
If you need help with this, please contact the school secretary at 319-465-3000.
PLEASE CONTINUE WITH SCHOOL COMMUNICATION
Parents/guardians, please continue to reach out to your school nurses if you or your child has or is exposed to COVID-19. They will be happy to answer questions and assist you with determining your child’s return to school date. Mrs. Speltz may be emailed at the following address: jennifer.speltz@monticello.k12.ia.us
