American Heart Association Heart Sale. SODA students will be selling the hearts in the commons before school and during lunch this week and next. Look for them if you’d like to support a great cause.
Each heart is $1. You can put your name on it or dedicate it to someone. If MHS sells more than 100 hearts we will have a pie in the face of a student. If we sell more than 200 we will have a pie in the face of both a student and a teacher. At 300 we’ll have student, teacher and Mrs. Young. And if we can pull off selling 400 Dr. Jaeger the superintendent has agreed to take a pie in the face. We have about 400 people in the building with students and staff so hopefully that is attainable. For each heart you purchase your name goes in the drawing to put the pie in someone’s face. So if you buy 5 then you get your name in the drawing 5 times. Then we will have a lottery drawing to see who gets to put a pie in the face of someone.
