MHS is trying a new system for lunch study table. The F list will still be run on Fridays. If a student is failing on Friday they will be on the lunch study table list for the following week. If this is their first week on the F list it will be considered a bye week, giving the student an opportunity to get their grade to passing on their own. If they are still failing after the bye week then the student will need to come to lunch study table beginning the following week (week 2) and continue to attend until the grade is passing. A student will become ineligible for activities and need to attend after school study table if they are still failing after 3 weeks (the bye week counts toward the 3 weeks).
Food Service will be starting a second chance breakfast. What this means is if you are not hungry during regular breakfast hours you will be able to stop by after 1st block and before 2nd block to purchase a mobile 3 item breakfast, or ala cart items. We will have certain items that would equal a regular breakfast but it will be mobile. If you are on free or reduced meals remember you will only be able to eat breakfast once unless you have money in your lunch account. Thanks and please be patient with us as we perfect this.
Be sure to check out the flyer outside the office about the Hope on a Leash To Benefit the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation T-shirt Design Contest scheduled for August 29th in Marion. Entry Form Deadline: Friday, February 28, 2020.
