SENIORS: Senior and baby photos are due DEC. 18 for yearbook. You can turn in to Mrs. Ralston or Mrs. Woodhouse. This is the Google doc listing who has turned in senior and baby pictures for yearbook.
If you haven’t taken a Kirkwood course yet and plan to next year, now is the time to apply. Some courses will require placement testing before February so plan ahead. Deadlines will be enforced. Kirkwood is hosting an Academy Expo on December 17th for sophomore students that would like to explore what Kirkwood academies are like. See Mrs. Stenger for an invitation.
The varsity girls basketball team will play in the Wendy’s/MidwestOne Basketball Classic at Loras College on Saturday, December 14th vs Cuba City at 12:30. ALL Student admission K-College is FREE, Adults $8, Seniors $5.

KCC students who are finished with their concurrent enrollment class need to turn in their books & materials to the high school office by 3:15 on Monday, December 16th.
All lockers in the locker rooms need to be cleaned out by Friday, December 20th. This includes lockers of those out for sports. The locker rooms will be cleaned over Christmas break.

Grand Lodge of Iowa – Masonic Scholarship – Applicant must be a graduating Iowa high school senior planning to pursue a post-secondary education in any state at an accredited 2-4 year institution. Criteria includes service to school and community with emphasis on leadership roles. Academic record, communication skills and financial need are considered. Application can be found on the 2020 Scholarship Application webpage posted on the MHS Counseling website. Deadline: February 1, 2020
Iowa School Counselor Association Senior Scholarship – Applicant must be a senior attending an Iowa high school. Essay required. Online application. Information can be found on the 2020 Scholarship Application webpage posted on the MHS Counseling website. Deadline: January 10, 2020
GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program – Applicant must show leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship in school, in the workplace and in their community. Must have strong academic performance and also demonstrate financial need. Must be planning to enroll in a course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university.
