Jones County 4-H is hosting a “Find-Out Night” on Sunday, October 13 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Jones County ISU Extension & Outreach center in Monticello. A Military Academy Night for students interested in a military academy is being held Monday, October 7th at 6:00 pm at Beems Auditorium in the Cedar Rapids library at 450 5th St SE.
October 3 – a rep from Simpson College will be in the guidance office from 9:00-9:30. Stop by and say hi and let them know if you have any questions!
October 8th – A rep from Brown University in Providence, RI will be in the commons during lunch shifts. Please stop by and say hi and ask any questions you may have!

Horatio Alger Association Scholarships – National & State: Applicant must be a graduating senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited public or private institution. Must demonstrate financial need, be involved in school and community activities. Also based on academics and be a person who displays integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity.
