Be sure to check for your name on the board outside the office. If your name is on the board, you have something at the office window or you are wanted in the office.
All students MUST report to the office to sign in and out of the building after the school day begins except if you are a senior with an open block. You can sign in either in the front office or the guidance office. See Mrs. Dirks if you have any questions on your attendance.
Reminder that MCSD does not provide transportation to and from Kirkwood because the facility is located in our community. See Mrs. Young with any questions.
Homecoming Spirit Gear order forms will be accepted until September 3. Make sure to pick one up from the office drive-up window before then.
The Fall weight room hours will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:00.
Attention Senior Class Officers – A representative from Jostens will meet with you in the Conference Room today at 10:00 am.
A Workplace Learning Connections Job Shadows and Internships presentation for juniors and seniors is scheduled for Thursday, August 29 at 8:15 am in the auditorium. All juniors and seniors are highly encouraged to sign up for a job shadow (2-4 hour commitment one time at a worksite) to learn more about a future career. Students can apply for a job shadow now by following the directions attached.
A Freshmen Transition presentation by ICAN is scheduled for Thursday, September 5th from 9:00-10:00 in the auditorium.
There will be a Senior Class meeting for all seniors on Tuesday, September 10th at 8:10 am in the auditorium.
The Iowa Senate, House of Representatives, and Legislative Services Agency invite Iowa high school juniors and seniors to apply for Page positions for the 2020 session of the Iowa General Assembly. Silver Service Opportunity:
The First Presbyterian Church in Monticello is looking for students to help with daycare every Tuesday night from 6:00 to 7:30 pm (starting September 17th). Contact Lindsay Ryan @ email@example.com if you are interested.
