SENIORS!!   You will not be able to pick up your cap and gown on Wednesday, May 18th until all of your bills are paid.  Be sure to check your lunch account balance with Pat Kelly, check in the library with Mrs. Carlson to be sure if you have any books out or have library fines to pay, and check with Mrs. Ralston in the office to see if you have any bills to pay.

 

SENIORS!!!  All Silver Service Hours are due to Mr. Lambert by Monday, May 16th @ 3:15 pm.

 

All PSEO materials and books are to be turned in to Mrs. Young by Monday, May 16th @ 3:15 p.m.  If students do not return their materials by the deadline, you will be billed the actual costs.

 

A local youth softball coach is looking for umps for his team’s scrimmages.   The coach has added these dates – May 19th 6:00 pm, June 8th 7:00 pm, June 20th 7:00 pm.  If you are interested in earning silver service hours, please contact Nick Zimmerman at 319-821-0224.

 

Anyone interested in running for student council next year needs to pick up a signature form from the office drive-up window and get 25 signatures from students in their own grade and return it to Miss Miller or the office by 3:00 pm on Friday, May 13th.  Election run-offs will be the following week if needed.  Late forms will not be accepted.

 

Any senior wishing to speak at graduation needs to see either Mrs. Carlson or Mrs. DeWitte before Friday, May 13th.

 

Camp Courageous is looking for volunteers for their “Cruisin’ for Camp Courageous” car show on Sunday, May 15th.  Volunteers are needed to assist with concession stands from 9:30 am-2:00 pm.  Contact Camp Courageous at 465-5916.

 

 

Guidance Office News:

 

Attention seniors:  Do you need money for college??? The Ellen Hanken Memorial Scholarship and the Pine Grove Scholarship are two new $1000 scholarships that have been added and are open to any of you who can show financial need and are planning to go to a 1 or 2-year college this fall.  Pick up the application form in the guidance office and turn the completed forms in to the guidance office by 3:15 today.
