Student Bulletin                                     Friday, August 23                                                              Day 1          



Be sure to check for your name on the board outside the office.  If your name is on the board, you have something at the office window or you are wanted in the office.


Schedule changes will take place today through Monday.  Listen for the overhead pages for your turn.


Speech and Drama members will meet on Monday, August 26th at 7:30 am in the library.


Musical auditions are scheduled for Monday, August 26th at 3:30 and Tuesday, August 27th at 3:30 and 7:00 pm.


Student council will meet on Tuesday, August 27th from 8-11 am in Mr. Hospodarsky’s room. This is a mandatory meeting and we will be talking about changes and homecoming preparations.


Student council will meet on Wednesday, August 28th at 7:15am in Mr. Hospodarsky’s room.


Attention Senior Class Officers – A representative from Jostens will meet with you in the Conference Room on Wednesday, August 28th at 10:00 am.


A Workplace Learning Connections Job Shadows and Internships presentation for juniors and seniors is scheduled for Thursday, August 29 at 8:15 am in the auditorium.  All juniors and seniors are highly encouraged to sign up for a job shadow (2-4 hour commitment one time at a worksite) to learn more about a future career.  Students can apply for a job shadow now by following the directions attached.


A Freshmen Transition presentation by ICAN is scheduled for Thursday, September 5th from 9:00-10:00.


There will be a Senior Class meeting for all seniors on Tuesday, September 10th at 8:10 am in the auditorium.


The Iowa Senate, House of Representatives, and Legislative Services Agency invite Iowa high school juniors and seniors to apply for Page positions for the 2020 session of the Iowa General Assembly.  Serving as a legislative page is a great opportunity for students. Silver Service Opportunity:

The First Presbyterian Church in Monticello is looking for students to help with daycare every Tuesday night from 6:00 to 7:30 pm (starting September 17th).  Contact Lindsay Ryan @ lindsay.randolph.ryan@gmail.com if you are interested.
