Attention Seniors:  Jostens will be back at school to deliver your graduation items today during lunch.  Please remember that cash or money orders are the only forms of payments accepted on delivery day at school.  If you have any questions, please call 1-800-JOSTENS (567-8367).


There will be a girls’ golf meeting on Tuesday, March 6th after school in Mr. Steen’s room for anyone interested.


Attention boys interested in going out for golf – The first organizational meeting will be Tuesday, March 6th at 3:30 pm in the middle school library.  This meeting is mandatory and will last about 1 hour.


Lasso E Campers in Amber is looking for help.  See the poster in the hallway for details.


SODA is hosting its 4th annual “Dress Comfortable for Mental Health Awareness Day” Friday March 9th.  It is a day we encourage you to dress comfortable (appropriate PJs, sweatpants and shirts etc).  Relax your way into Spring Break.


Attention Juniors and Seniors who are interested in applying for National Honor Society:  Applications are available at the high school office drive-thru window and via the district website.  You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and have performed 40 hours of documented community service to apply. Completed applications will be due Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 3:15 pm to the high school office. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Stenger.

Counseler’s Office –


For students taking the April ACT:  F&M Bank is hosting ACT prep seminars Saturday, March 24th and Saturday, April 7th.  See Mrs. Stenger by March 8th for the required RSVP information.


Attention 2018-19 Kirkwood Academy students — Students interested in taking Auto Tech academy need to take all three placement tests. Comp and online courses require Accuplacer and Kirkwood Statistics requires ALEKs.  ACT scores are also accepted in any of these areas with qualifying scores.  Any questions, contact Lisa Folken or Craig Stadtmueller at 465-2302. Tests can also be arranged at this main number.


Doug Bannon from Kirkwood Community College will be in the counselor’s office tomorrow morning at 8:05 a.m.



Today’s Lunch:    French toast sticks w/syrup, sausage links, hash brown patty, strawberries & bananas, & milk.


Activities:  7 – 12 Vocal Concert in High School Gym 7:00 pm.
