Student Bulletin                                                               Monday, December 4                                                                   Day 6

There will be a meeting for all 10th & 11th graders and parents tonight at 7:00 p.m. about taking Advanced Placement, Kirkwood Academies, Concurrent Enrollment, and PSEO Courses during your Junior and/or Senior year. This meeting will be held in the High School Auditorium. Lots of information will be presented, please plan on attending!

Parent Teacher Conferences are tonight from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Christmas is around the corner and there are so many kids who would love Christmas presents. Interact Club would like to see how many toys Monticello High School Students can donate. There will be a box outside of the office to put your new toys in! These items do need to be new and in their original packaging. Ideas could be as simple as stocking stuffers, board games, or stuffed animals. To make things even better bring a toy tomorrow morning and get a free drink at the Coffee Shack. Coffee Shack will be open from 7:30-8:05.

Silver Service opportunity – Please see Mrs. Ralston if you would be able to rake leaves for an elderly Monticello resident.  This person would really appreciate your help before the snow flies!!!

ATTENTION SENIORS!   Senior pictures and baby pictures for Yearbook must be turned in before winter break!  Pictures cannot be accepted late.  Get them turned in now!  List is posted by the gym. Put your name on the back.

The High School Student Council is putting on a Food Drive to help the Monticello Food Pantry.  Our goal as a school is to bring in 1,000 items by this Friday, December 8th.  Items needed are cleaning supplies, paper products, and food items.  Items may be dropped off in Mrs. Maher’s room.   We are up to 364 items for the food pantry.

Congrats to the Panther Dance Team state champs in all three divisions of Jazz, Pom, and Contemporary. The team also won a distinguished academic award.  A big shout out to Kate Tuetken for being chosen for the ISDTA $1000 scholarship.  Way to go Panther Dance!
