HS Student Bulletin, 11-21-17

Student Bulletin                                                   Tuesday, November 21                                                  Day 5

Christmas is around the corner and there are so many kids who would love Christmas presents. Interact Club would like to see how many toys Monticello High School Students can donate. There will be a box outside of the office to put your new toys in! These items do need to be new and in their original packaging. Ideas could be as simple as stocking stuffers, board games, or stuffed animals. To make things even better bring a toy on the morning of December 5th and get a free drink at the Coffee Shack. Coffee Shack will be open from 7:30-8:05.
Silver Service Hours opportunity — Mr. Thumma needs help setting up the gym for his Elementary concert on December 5th.   Students will be setting up the risers and chairs, and hanging artwork in the hallway.  Contact Mr. Thumma if you’d like to lend a hand.

Attention Seniors regarding the Yearbook — Senior and baby pictures are due for yearbook BEFORE WINTER BREAK!  They cannot be accepted late!  Label them on the back and turn in at the office window or to Mrs. Woodhouse.  They could also be emailed as a jpg attachment to Mrs. Woodhouse. A list of those who have not turned one in is posted by the gym.

Reminder that donation jars are set up in the library for No Shave November.   All of the money from the jars will be donated to MDA.   Today, all of Mr. Reade’s classes are encouraged to bring any loose change/$$ to donate to MDA (& No Shave November).  If each class can meet the $$ goal, there will be a nice incentive for the class!!

A midshipman from the United States Naval Academy will be here during lunch today to talk to students interested in learning more about the Naval Academy.

Internship applications are now being accepted for Summer and Fall 2018.  See Mrs. Stenger if you need the website to apply.

Today’s Lunch:    Breaded chicken, vegetable soup/crackers, orange slices, cookie, and milk.

Happy Thanksgiving!!  Enjoy your break!!
