Attention Seniors regarding the Yearbook — Senior and baby pictures are due for yearbook BEFORE WINTER BREAK!  They cannot be accepted late!  Label them on the back and turn in at the office window or to Mrs. Woodhouse.  They could also be emailed as a jpg attachment to Mrs. Woodhouse. A list of those who have not turned one in is posted by the gym.

Attention Seniors regarding Graduation — Your classmates are starting to work on the Senior slideshow that is played during graduation.  Seniors, please email your pictures including senior and baby pictures to Cassie Gillmore, Jordyn Patterson, or Anna Loes.

 

Seniors – Start checking the school’s website for scholarship information.  State and national scholarships are accepting applications and deadlines are coming up.  Watch for other state and local scholarships that will be added as they become available.  Check both the Local, State & National Scholarship page and the Scholarship Information link on the website.

 

Coffee Shack will be selling hot drinks tomorrow morning, Halloween! Bring some money and enjoy a nice hot latte! If you want to help, please talk to Mrs. Sandin.

 

There will be a bowling informational meeting at 3:30 today in the auditorium for any students interested in bowling.

 

The Sacred Heart Holiday Gala 2017 is Saturday, November 18th.  If you are interested in earning silver service hours volunteering at this event, you may pick up a form at the office drive-up window.  Contact information and details are on the form.

 

Students are reminded that Halloween costumes in any size, shape or form are not allowed at Monticello High School.  No costumes allowed.

 

Speech Auditions will be held in Ms. DeWitte’s room (306) as follows –

3:30 pm                         Tuesday, October 31st

7:30 am & 3:30 pm     Wednesday, November 1st

7:30 am & 3:30 pm     Thursday, November 2nd

 

There will be a Student Council meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 am in Ms. Maher’s room.

 

Check out the flyer on the bulletin board outside the office for information on how you can help Northeast Gooselake High School in their bid to acquire a grant.

 

There will be a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 31st for sophomores and juniors in the auditorium from 9:40 – 9:55 regarding Iowa Assessments that are scheduled next week November 7, 8, & 9.

 

The Monticello Public Library is celebrating International Games Week.  The library is hosting a day full of gaming fun on Friday, November 3 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Check out the poster outside the office.

 

Today’s Lunch:    Deli sandwich, whole grain chips, baby carrots/dip, side kick frozen/juice, and milk.
