There will be a speaker on apprenticeships during WIN on Friday, January 12th.  Apprenticeships are opportunities to earn a living and gain training at the same time. If you are interested in attending the meeting, stop in room 342 and see Mrs. Sconsa to sign up.


Attention Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors interested in traveling abroad in March of 2019 — There will be an informational meeting in Mr. Meshak’s Room during WIN on Thursday, January 11th.  The meeting will take 10 minutes.


Comp II with Ms. Hillers begins second semester, and since we meet on a day two, the date is Tuesday, January 16.


Any Interact members or anyone else interested in helping to plan the Mini Dance Marathon meet in Mrs. Sandin’s room tomorrow morning at 7:30 am!


SODA will meet during WIN on Friday, January 12th.


Anyone interested in earning Silver Service hours for helping at Coffee Shack during District Speech Contest on Saturday, January 20th, please talk to Mrs. Sandin.


The Jones Regional Education Center will have an Open House on Thursday, January 18th from 6:00pm-7:30pm.  There will be two opportunities to hear a presentation at 6:00pm & 6:45pm as well as the opportunity to take a tour of the building.  This is a great opportunity for students and parents to tour the Center, learn about the academies and courses that are offered, and ask questions.


The first ACT study group will meet today during WIN in the ICN Room.  Please bring your practice test score sheets then or drop off with Mrs. Stenger.


The girls’ and boys’ bowling teams will be dismissed at 11:45 today.  Report to the bowling alley for the bus that is leaving at 12:15.  Any student with 2nd shift lunch should eat first shift.


Attention all students – Please enter the building through the front door.  Do not enter the building through the athletic door.  Do not prop the athletic door open or let other students in the athletic door. Enter the building through the front door only.


Just a reminder that this is the season for Influenza. Prevention is key!  Wash your hands often in warm water for at least 20 seconds.  Also, staff and students need to be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to work/school.  If you have vomiting or diarrhea you need to be out for 24 hours after last episode.
