SODA will meet during WIN today.

 

There will be a student council meeting Wednesday, January 17th at 7:30 AM in Ms. Maher’s room.

 

Anyone interested in earning Silver Service hours for helping at Coffee Shack during District Speech Contest on Saturday, January 20th, please talk to Mrs. Sandin.

 

The Jones Regional Education Center will have an Open House on Thursday, January 18th from 6:00pm-7:30pm.  There will be two opportunities to hear a presentation at 6:00pm & 6:45pm as well as the opportunity to take a tour of the building.  This is a great opportunity for students and parents to tour the Center, learn about the academies and courses that are offered, and ask questions.

 

Attention all students – Please enter the building through the front door.  Do not enter the building through the athletic door.  Do not prop the athletic door open or let other students in the athletic door. Enter the building through the front door only.

 

Just a reminder that this is the season for Influenza. Prevention is key!  Wash your hands often with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds.  Also, staff and students need to be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to work/school.  If you have vomiting or diarrhea you need to be out for 24 hours after last episode.  ​Contact Jodi Heinrich with questions.

 

Starting today during lunch we will be selling tickets to the Dance Marathon on February 24th. The tickets will be sold every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during lunch through the month of January.  The price of admission comes with a T-shirt, which is $15.

 

Allen College is hosting a Health Career Exploration day on Friday, March 2nd.  Students interested in attending the Career Day or a campus tour at Allen College, please see Mrs. Stenger for more information.

Looking for Senior volunteers to help serve at the Monticello School Foundation Dinner on Saturday, March 3rd at the Berndes Center.  If interested please contact Sarah Kraus.  You can also see Mrs. Young for more information.
