The Monticello High School Student Council will be sponsoring a Holiday Food/Toiletry Drive through December 14th for the Monticello Food Pantry. This year, however, we are making it a competition to see who brings in the most.  This competition will take place in your B2, Day 1 class and the prize will be a pizza party.  Since the class sizes very greatly, the count will be based off of “cans per student”.  Someone from the Student Council will be bringing a box(es) to your room to count and collect items.  We will place updates in the daily announcements so that everyone can feel the competitive spirit!!!!

To further promote our Holiday Food/Toiletry Drive, all students in grades K-12 who bring in two items to the December 7th basketball game against the Wilton Beavers, will have free admission. Thank you for your generosity.

The Panther Dance Team is selling Panther Fan Gear.  Great Christmas presents!  Order forms are available at the office drive-up window with an order deadline of Friday, December 7th.

The cold, winter in Iowa has begun so it time for the winter PSA!  Please do not leave your school issued electronics in your vehicles.   We all know that super cold temps can harm/zap your battery and crack screens.   You will have to pay at least $54 to replace the screen.  Take your computers inside!!

Do not put stuff in the pockets of your computer bags!!  It will break your screen.  Again, screen replacement costs you at least $54!

Choir and SODA will meet today during WIN.

Kirkwood scheduling advice is available during lunchtime the remainder of the week.  Kirkwood’s paperwork is available at lunch and in the office.

Seniors: you are invited to take part in The Scholarship Process webinar on Thursday, December 6 at 6 pm. This online presentation can be viewed on any device from the comfort of anywhere.  You can register online.
