Go to your 5th block class during WIN time today for PBIS – MOH activity.

 

SENIORS:  Senior and baby pictures for yearbook are due before winter break.  We’d like to have as many as possible by Oct. 31.  After that we will post a list of those missing.  They cannot be accepted after winter break.  Get them in now and cross that off your senior to do list!  Hard copies can be turned in to the office window or Mrs. Woodhouse.  Label them on the back with your name.  Or they may be submitted digitally to Mrs. Woodhouse.  If you email it, check for a confirmation email that it was received.

Hey Europe Travelers – On Thursday, November 8th at 5:30 pm we will have a meeting in Mr. Meshak’s room.

 

Ms. Miller and Mr. Malausky are looking for student volunteers to help with Coffee Shack during conferences.  This time can be logged for Silver Service Hours.  Conferences are Monday, October 22nd and Thursday, October 25th from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

 

F&M Bank is looking for a student that could work mainly Saturdays.  Student needs to be dependable, understand confidentiality, and be willing to learn.  Contact Ashley Faust at F&M Bank if you are interested.

 

 

 

Guidance News:

All Guidance Office announcements will be listed daily for about a week.  If you need to find a past announcement, search in your email for that week’s school announcement list.

 

All students, especially seniors and juniors should become familiar with the High School Counseling webpage on the District’s website.  Scholarships are being added to the National, State and Local Scholarship webpage and there are many scholarships on the site to look at which all will eventually be updated.  There are also links to other scholarship opportunities for all age groups, college rep visits, college visit days, military rep visits, and many other links to browse through.

 

The Semper Fidelis All-American Program honors high school juniors who go above and beyond. Students will be chosen based on moral character and academic performance in addition to athletic abilities.  Selected students will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the Battles Won Academy this July in Washington, D.C. and be honored as an All-American which is invaluable when it comes to resumes and college applications.  Apply by December 31st at https://sfaap.marines.com/
